F. Sionil José (* December 3, 1924 in Rosales; † January 6, 2022 in Makati) was a philippine writer. He was 97 years old. He studied at University of Santo Tomas. He received 4 awards, including Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres, National Artist of the Philippines.
