Francisco Umbral (* May 11, 1932 in Madrid; † August 28, 2007 in Boadilla del Monte) was a spanish writer. He was 75 years old. He received 9 awards, including Premio Nadal, Princess of Asturias Literary Prize. His cause of death was cardiovascular disease. He was buried at La Almudena Cemetery.
