Biography
François Mitterrand (* October 26, 1916 in Jarnac; † January 8, 1996 in 7th arrondissement of Paris) was a 21st President of the French Republic from 1981 to 1995. He was 79 years old. He was married to Danielle Mitterrand. His education included Paris Law Faculty and Sciences Po. His faith was agnosticism. He received 5 awards, including Knight Grand Cross with Collar of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, Collar of the Order of Isabella the Catholic. His cause of death was prostate cancer.
