Frederik Pohl (* November 26, 1919 in New York City; † September 2, 2013 in Arlington Heights) was an american science fiction writer and editor. He was 93 years old. He had 5 wives. He studied at Brooklyn Technical High School. He received 9 awards, including Nebula Award for Best Novel, National Book Award. His cause of death was respiratory failure.
