Biography
Frère Roger (* May 12, 1915 in Provence; †August 16, 2005 in Taizé) was a swiss monk. He was 90 years old. His education included Faculté de théologie protestante de Strasbourg, University of Strasbourg and University of Lausanne. His faith was Protestantism. He received 5 awards, including Charlemagne Prize, Peace Prize of the German Publishers' and Booksellers' Association. His cause of death was stab wound. He was buried at Burgundy.
