Biography
Georges Charpak (* August 1, 1924 in Dubrovytsia; † September 29, 2010 in Paris) was a french physicist. He was 86 years old. He was married to Dominique Vidal. He had 3 children. His education included Lycée Saint-Louis, Mines ParisTech, Les Houches School of Physics and University of Paris. He received 7 awards, including Nobel Prize in Physics, Jean-Ricard Prize.
