Biography
Giorgos Vasiliou (* May 20, 1931 in Famagusta; † January 13, 2026 in Nicosia) was a 3rd President of the Republic of Cyprus. He was 94 years old. He was married to Androula Vassiliou. He had 3 children. His education included Budapest University of Technology and Economics and University of London. He received 9 awards, including Grand Collar of the Order of the Nile, Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Cyprus. His cause of death was Parkinson's disease.
