Gerry Goffin (* February 11, 1939 in Brooklyn; † June 19, 2014 in Los Angeles) was an american lyricist. He was 75 years old. He was married to Carole King. His education included Brooklyn Technical High School, United States Naval Academy and Queens College. His awards include Grammy Trustees Award and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
