Gilbert Bécaud (* October 24, 1927 in Toulon; †December 18, 2001 in Boulogne-Billancourt) was a french singer, composer, pianist and actor. He was 74 years old. He was married to Monique Nicolas and Kitty Bécaud. He had at least 1 child (1 son). He studied at Conservatory of Nice. He received 4 awards, including Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres‎, Officer's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. His cause of death was lung cancer. He was buried at Père Lachaise Cemetery.
