Biography
György Faludy (* September 22, 1910 in Budapest; †September 1, 2006 in Budapest) was a hungarian writer, poet, translator. He was 95 years old. His education included University of Vienna, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Fasori Gimnázium. He received 4 awards, including Kossuth Prize, honorary citizen of Budapest. He was buried at Fiume Road Graveyard.
