Biography
Harvey Pekar (* October 8, 1939 in Cleveland; † July 12, 2010 in Cleveland Heights) was an american underground comic book writer, music critic, and media personality. He was 70 years old. He was married to Joyce Brabner. His education included Shaker Heights High School and Case Western Reserve University. His faith was atheism. His awards include American Book Awards, Inkpot Award and Will Eisner Hall of Fame. He was buried at Lake View Cemetery.
