Hilary Koprowski (* December 5, 1916 in Warsaw; † April 11, 2013 in Philadelphia) was a polish physician, virologist, immunologist and medical researcher. He was 96 years old. He was married to Irena Koprowska. His education included Wydział Lekarski Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, Chopin University of Music and Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. He received 8 awards, including Fulbright Scholarship, Order of the Smile. His cause of death was pneumonia.
