Biography
Hiroshi Teshigahara (* January 28, 1927 in Tokyo; † April 14, 2001 in Tokyo) was a japanese film director. He was 74 years old. He was married to Toshiko Kobayashi. He studied at Tokyo University of the Arts. He received 5 awards, including Medal with Purple Ribbon, Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres. His cause of death was leukemia. He was buried at Aoyama Cemetery.
