Horst Köhler (* February 22, 1943 in Skierbieszów; † February 1, 2025 in Berlin) was a german politician (CDU); president of Germany, 2004–2010. He was 81 years old. He was married to Eva Köhler. He had 2 children. He studied at University of Tübingen. His faith was Lutheranism. He received 9 awards, including Order of Merit of Baden-Württemberg, Grand Officer, Special Class of the Order of Honour for Services to the Republic of Austria. He was buried at St. Annen-Kirchhof.
