Hwang Jang-yop (* February 17, 1923 in Kangdong County; †October 10, 2010 in Seoul) was a north Korean politician and defector. He was 87 years old. His education included Moscow University's Department of Philosophy and Chuo University. His cause of death was myocardial infarction.
