Ilie Verdeț (* May 10, 1925 in Comănești; † March 20, 2001 in Bucharest) was a 51st Prime Minister of Romania. He was 75 years old. He studied at Bucharest University of Economic Studies. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Ghencea Cemetery.
