Biography
Ismail Kadare (* January 28, 1936 in Gjirokastër; † July 1, 2024 in Mother Teresa Hospital) was an albanian writer. He was 88 years old. He was married to Helena Kadare. He had 2 children. His education included University of Tirana and Maxim Gorky Literature Institute. His faith was atheism. He received 8 awards, including Princess of Asturias Literary Prize, Herder Prize. His cause of death was myocardial infarction.
