Biography
Ivan Klíma (* September 14, 1931 in Prague; † October 4, 2025 in Prague) was a czech playwright, author, publicist, and university educator. He was 94 years old. He was married to Helena Klímová. His education included Charles University and Prague University of Economics and Business. His faith was Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren. He received 7 awards, including Franz Kafka Prize, Czech Medal of Merit, 1st class.
