Jacques Vergès (* March 5, 1925 in Ubon Ratchathani; † August 15, 2013 in 7th arrondissement of Paris) was a french lawyer, political activist and writer. He was 88 years old. He was married to Djamila Bouhired. His education included University of Paris and Lycée Leconte-de-Lisle. His faith was Sunni Islam. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Montparnasse Cemetery.
