Biography
Yehuda Amichai (* May 3, 1924 in Würzburg; † September 22, 2000 in Jerusalem) was an israeli poet. He was 76 years old. He studied at Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He received 10 awards, including Israel Prize, Bialik Prize. His cause of death was cancer. He was buried at Sanhedria Cemetery.
