Biography
Jesse Jackson (* October 8, 1941 in Greenville; † February 17, 2026 in Chicago) was an american Baptist minister, activist, civil rights leader, politician, and founder of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition. He was 84 years old. He was married to Jacqueline Jackson. His education included University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign, Chicago Theological Seminary and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. His faith was Baptists. He received 5 awards, including Spingarn Medal, Presidential Medal of Freedom. He was buried at Oak Woods Cemetery.
