Biography
Jimmie Davis (* September 11, 1899 in Quitman; † November 5, 2000 in Baton Rouge) was an american singer, songwriter and 47th Governor of Louisiana. He was 101 years old. His education included Louisiana State University and Louisiana Christian University. His faith was Baptists. His awards include Gospel Music Hall of Fame and Grammy Hall of Fame. He was buried at Jimmie Davis Tabernacle Cemetery.
