Biography
Joachim Fest (* December 8, 1926 in Karlshorst; † September 11, 2006 in Kronberg im Taunus) was a german historian. He was 79 years old. His education included University of Freiburg, Freie Universität Berlin and Goethe University Frankfurt. His faith was Catholicism. He received 9 awards, including Theodor Wolff award, Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. He was buried at cemetery of St.-Matthias-Gemeinde (Berlin-Tempelhof).
