Biography
Joachim Meisner (* December 25, 1933 in Leśnica; † July 5, 2017 in Bad Füssing) was a german cardinal and archbishop of Cologne, Catholic cardinal. He was 83 years old. He studied at Pontifical Gregorian University. His faith was Catholic Church. He received 7 awards, including Great Golden Medal of Honour for Services to the Republic of Austria, Great Cross with Star and Sash of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. His cause of death was cardiac arrest. He was buried at Cologne Cathedral.
