Joan Mondale (* August 8, 1930 in Eugene; † February 3, 2014 in Minneapolis) was a second Lady of the United States from 1977 to 1981. She was 83 years old. She was married to Walter Mondale. She had at least 1 child (1 daughter). Her education included St. Paul Academy and Summit School and Macalester College. Her awards include Distinguished Service to the Visual Arts Award and Fellow of the American Craft Council. Her cause of death was Alzheimer's disease.
