Biography
João Havelange (* May 8, 1916 in Rio de Janeiro; † August 16, 2016 in Rio de Janeiro) was a brazilian businessman and athlete. He was 100 years old. He studied at Fluminense Federal University. He received 9 awards, including Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic. He was buried at Cemitério de São João Batista.
