John Gorton (* September 9, 1911 in Melbourne; † May 19, 2002 in Sydney) was an australian politician, 19th Prime Minister of Australia. He was 90 years old. He was married to Bettina Gorton and Nancy Helen Elliott. He studied at Brasenose College. He was awarded the Companion of Honour. He was buried at Melbourne General Cemetery.
