Biography
Jorge Edwards (* June 29, 1931 in Santiago; † March 17, 2023 in Madrid) was a chilean writer, literary critic, journalist and diplomat. He was 91 years old. He was married to Pilar de Castro Vergara. He had 2 children. His education included University of Chile - Faculty of Law, Princeton University and Colegio San Ignacio. He received 6 awards, including Miguel de Cervantes Prize, National Prize for Literature (Chile).
