José Saramago (* November 16, 1922 in Azinhaga; † June 18, 2010 in Lanzarote) was a portuguese novelist. He was 87 years old. He had 3 wives. His faith was atheism. He received 9 awards, including Nobel Prize in Literature, Camões Prize. His cause of death was leukemia.
