Joseph Brodsky (* May 24, 1940 in Saint Petersburg; † January 28, 1996 in Brooklyn) was a russian-American poet. He was 55 years old. He was married to Maria Sozzani. His education included Clare Hall and Annenschule. He received 9 awards, including Nobel Prize in Literature, Guggenheim Fellowship. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Cemetery of San Michele.
