Biography
Juraj Jakubisko (* April 30, 1938 in Kojšov; † February 24, 2023 in Prague) was a slovak director. He was 84 years old. He was married to Deana Horváthová and Ľudmila Vašová. His education included School of Arts and Crafts in Bratislava and Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He received 4 awards, including Czech Medal of Merit, 1st class, Czech Lion Award for Best Film Poster.
