Kate Millett (* September 14, 1934 in Saint Paul; † September 6, 2017 in 6th arrondissement of Paris) was an american writer, educator, artist, and activist. She was 82 years old. She was married to Fumio Yoshimura. Her education included St Hilda's College, Columbia University, University of Minnesota and Cretin-Derham Hall High School. Her awards include Courage Award for the Arts, National Women's Hall of Fame and Lambda Literary Pioneer Award. Her cause of death was cardiac arrest.
