Her education included Bob Jones University and American Film Institute. Her awards include Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries or Television Film and Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy. Her cause of death was Alzheimer's disease.
