Li Wenliang (* October 12, 1985 in Beizhen City; † February 6, 2020 in Wuhan) was a chinese ophthalmologist known for warning about the coronavirus in December 2019. He was 34 years old. He was married to Fu Xuejie. He had 2 children. He studied at Wuhan University School of Medicine. He was awarded the Paracelsus Medal of the German Medical Association. His cause of death was COVID-19.
