Louis Zamperini (* January 26, 1917 in Olean; † July 2, 2014 in Los Angeles) was an italian-American middle distance runner and World War II veteran. He was 97 years old. His education included University of Southern California and Torrance High School. His faith was Christianity. He received a total of 7 awards. His cause of death was pneumonia.
