Luther Vandross (* April 20, 1951 in New York City; † July 1, 2005 in Edison) was an american R&B singer. He was 54 years old. His education included Western Michigan University and William Howard Taft High School. He was awarded the star on Hollywood Walk of Fame. His cause of death was diabetes. He was buried at George Washington Memorial Park.
