Biography
Magda Szabó (* October 5, 1917 in Debrecen; † November 19, 2007 in Budapest) was a hungarian writer, poet and translator. She was 90 years old. She was married to Tibor Szobotka. She studied at University of Debrecen. Her faith was Reformed Christianity. She received 6 awards, including Kossuth Prize, Prix Femina étranger. She was buried at Farkasréti Cemetery.
