Maria Tallchief (* January 24, 1925 in Fairfax; † April 11, 2013 in Chicago) was an american ballerina. She was 88 years old. She had 3 husbands. Her education included School of American Ballet and Beverly Hills High School. She received 4 awards, including National Medal of Arts, National Women's Hall of Fame. Her cause of death was falling from height. She was buried at Fairfax Cemetery.
