Marianne Fredriksson (* March 28, 1927 in Gothenburg; † February 11, 2007 in Österskär) was a swedish writer and journalist. She was 79 years old. Her awards include Publieksprijs voor het Nederlandse Boek and Author of the Year. Her cause of death was myocardial infarction.
