Marilyn French (* November 21, 1929 in Brooklyn; † May 2, 2009 in New York City) was a novelist, critic. She was 79 years old. Her education included Hofstra University and Harvard University. She was awarded the Harvard Centennial Medal. Her cause of death was heart failure. She was buried at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
