Biography of Marisol Escobar

Marisol Escobar (* 22. May 1930 in Paris; † 30. April 2016 in Manhattan) was a venezuelan-American sculptor. She was 85 years old. Her education included Jepson Art Institute, Art Students League of New York, The New School, Otis College of Art and Design, Harvard-Westlake School and École des Beaux-Arts. Her awards include Women's Caucus for Art Lifetime Achievement Award and Golden Plate Award. Her cause of death was pneumonia.
