Mark Hatfield (* July 12, 1922 in Dallas; † August 7, 2011 in Portland) was an american politician, governor of Oregon and U. S. Senator. He was 89 years old. He was married to Antoinette Hatfield. His education included Willamette University, Stanford University, Willamette University College of Law, North Salem High School and George Fox University. His awards include Four Freedoms Award – Freedom from Want, Lasker-Bloomberg Public Service Award and American Library Association Honorary Membership. He was buried at Willamette National Cemetery.
