Martin Walser (* March 24, 1927 in Wasserburg; † July 28, 2023 in Überlingen) was a german writer. He was 96 years old. He was married to Katharina Neuner-Jehle. He had 5 children. His education included University of Tübingen and University of Regensburg. He received 10 awards, including Pour le Mérite for Sciences and Arts order, Georg Büchner Prize.
