Biography
Mauno Koivisto (* November 25, 1923 in Turku; † May 12, 2017 in Meilahti Tower Hospital) was a president of Finland. He was 93 years old. He was married to Tellervo Koivisto. He studied at University of Turku. His faith was Lutheranism. He received 5 awards, including Knight Grand Cross with Collar of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, Grand Collar of the Order of Prince Henry. His cause of death was Alzheimer's disease. He was buried at Hietaniemi cemetery.
