Maureen Stapleton (* June 21, 1925 in Troy; † March 13, 2006 in Lenox) was an american actress. She was 80 years old. She was married to David Rayfiel. She had 2 children. Her education included Actors Studio, Catholic Central High School and HB Studio. She received 4 awards, including Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, Theatre World Award. Her cause of death was lung disease. She was buried at Saint Mary's Cemetery.
