Merle Haggard (* April 6, 1937 in Bakersfield; † April 6, 2016 in Palo Cedro) was an american country music songwriter, singer, and musician. He was 79 years old. He was married to Bonnie Owens. He studied at Bakersfield High School. He received 4 awards, including Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, California Hall of Fame. His cause of death was pneumonia.
