Michael P. Anderson (* 25. December 1959 in Plattsburgh; † 1. February 2003 in Texas) was an astronaut, scientist. He was 43 years old. His education included University of Washington, Creighton University and Cheney High School (Washington). His awards include Congressional Space Medal of Honor and NASA Distinguished Service Medal. He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
