Mirjam Pressler (* June 18, 1940 in Darmstadt; † January 16, 2019 in Landshut) was a german writer and translator. She was 78 years old. Her education included Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and Städelschule. She received 10 awards, including Bavarian Order of Merit, Officer's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
