Miyoshi Umeki (* May 8, 1929 in Otaru; †August 28, 2007 in Licking) was a japanese-American actress and singer. She was 78 years old. She was awarded the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her cause of death was cancer. She was buried at Boone Creek Cemetery.
