Biography
Mohammed Zahir Shah (* October 15, 1914 in Kabul; † July 23, 2007 in Kabul) was a king of Afghanistan. He was 92 years old. He was married to Humaira Begum. He had at least 6 children (5 sons and 1 daughter). His education included Lycée Janson-de-Sailly, Military College Jhelum, Habibia High School and Lycée Michelet, Vanves. His faith was Sunni Islam. He received 4 awards, including Grand Cross Special Class of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, Grand Cordon of the National Order of the Cedar.
